He Said What?

Good Morning beautiful people, good morning. Jesus told us in John 19:30 It Is finished. It’s a done deal, paid for, it’s complete. Man cannot give you this, you can’t buy it, earn it and none of us deserve it. The finished work of the cross is mine and yours if you will ask and receive.
As a young girl growing up in church, I thought that if I was good enough, I possibly could make it to heaven. It didn’t take me long to figure out I just couldn’t obtain such a status on my own.
As an adult I realized we are all sinners, it was all paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. There would be nothing in my past, present or my future that could ever separate me from Jesus Christ and His love for me. His blood was enough. No perfection status I could ever obtain on my own could surpass the work of the cross. That sure makes this girl want to shout it is finished this morning. Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the gift of salvation. John 3:16 tells us For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. In John 14:6 Jesus tells us that I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
Thank you there is no social status, race, color or creed that can stop us from receiving the greatest gift ever given to mankind.
Father, today may many hearts be opened to receive the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Draw them by your spirit, we pray. Your heart is that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9) and your heart is our heart. Thank you for the finished work of the cross. Amen
