Mark 5:22
Here we see a Synagogue ruler name Jairus , his daughter was dying and so he fell at Jesus feet and earnestly pleaded with him to come and heal his daughter and so Jesus went with him. But in the meantime there was a crowd that pressed around him and there was a women there that was subjected to bleeding for twelve years, so when she heard of Jesus she came behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak and I immediately she was healed. Jesus realized that someone had touched him and asked who touched me? Jesus kept looking around and when she noticed she came and fell at his feet and told him the whole truth. Jesus said Daughter your faith has healed you go in peace and be freed from your suffering.
Now if you notice all this time Jairus is waiting for Jesus to come and heal his daughter , but yet he did not rush Jesus, he could have said Lord my daughter is dying you do not have time to hear her testimony of her healing, rather he waited patiently for Jesus.
In the meantime some men came from the house of Jairus and told him that his daughter was dead, why bother the Lord
Mark 5:36 Ignoring what they said Jesus told the synagogue ruler ,Don’t be afraid just believe.
Have you ever been in a place where you believe for something where your faith is strong no matter what others say. They ignored the synagogue ruler and Jesus said don’t be afraid just believe. I believe that this is for someone today the Lord is saying to you just believe for whatever you are going through believe that God will see you through. Even when there is a period of time that you wait for God , he will never fail you. Jarius waited and yet believed in the waiting period. God wants you to trust him in those times.
When Jesus got to the house he notice people crying and wailing out loudly. He said why all this commotion and wailing
The child is not dead but asleep. But they laughed at him.
Sometimes people will laugh at you for believing God. That is when you need to arise in your faith and ignore there comments.
Then Jesus took her by the hand and said to her Little girl I say to you get up. Immediately the girl stood up and walked around.
The Lord is speaking to you today get up from your situation and see the hand of God move in your life. Don’t allow words of unbelief or doubt rule in your heart. Jairus believe Jesus even though he waited and the ruler told him that his daughter was dead. Jarius had faith and believed that his daughter would be healed. Do you have faith believing God for your situations? Your faith can move mountains ,your faith makes thing happen,
your faith moves the hand of God. God’s Word stimulates your faith and faith activates God’s power.
Mark 11:22 Have faith in God, Jesus answered 23 I tell you the truth if anyone says to this mountain go throw yourself into the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen it will be done for him.
The Power of God is available to all who calls upon him in faith
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
God promises that His Word will accomplish His will in your life
Thank you Lord as we arise in our faith it will accomplish great and amazing things in our lives. Having faith is the key to answered prayer. Lord when you make a promise faith believes it , hope anticipates it and patience awaits it. Amen
