Psalm 119.105 – Your Word is a Lamp for my feet, and a Light to my path.
Confession: It’s really easy right now for me to stray onto the path of worldly happenings and current events – bouncing from one news outlet to another, one story to the next. I’m not exactly sure why, and I have questioned this of myself today – as I have kept away from these things for quite some time.
Not that News is bad…but I’m finding too much is not good for me. It distracts me from the ‘path’ that is marked out in God’s Word. From Ephesians 5 this a.m –
1 You are God’s children, whom He loves.
2 Live a Life of Love, just as Christ loved us.
6 Do not let anyone fool you by telling you things that are not Truth.
8 Live like children who belong to the Light.
15 Be very careful how you Live….
16 Use Every chance you have for doing Good.
20 Always give thanks to God the Father.
His WORD is the best path I will ever follow.
It will never lead me a-stray – away from HIM.
