New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez Orders Flags to be Flown at Half-Staff in Honor of Senator John McCain
“Today, I am ordering all flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of the life and service of Senator John McCain,” said Governor Susana Martinez. “Senator McCain served our nation in the armed forces, as a prisoner of war in Vietnam and as a member of Congress. He is an American hero and it is in recognition of that service that I now order all flags in New Mexico to be flown at half-staff until ordered to full-staff at a date to be determined.”
