Gracefully Broken, by Karen Rowe

I couldn’t get this posted yesterday.  Why?  I believe because with every day, God is so kind to refine us by His kindness.  Friend, I was not free to post this burdened down.  I had to rest and get my permission from the Lord.  Gracefully Broken, I realized after I left this post why I was so low on that spiritual place with God: I was “Keeping a Record of Wrongs”  that I didn’t even know was hidden in my heart.  I just couldn’t put my finger on it … until the Lord was gracious enough to show me my own fault (yet once again).

I don’t mind to display that God is still working on me in His Kindness, Patience and everlasting love for me.  Friend, may I encourage you in this one thing?  Don’t be offended when God gives you some constructive criticism.  Learn to crave God’s Presence!  And, then when you miss that nearness to His sweet peace, resting faith, and joy in life, ask, seek and rest in His love; and be prepared to be gracefully broken.  It is a beautiful thing to be loved by God’s Fatherly Salvation & to be equipped in the Holy Spirit to change; and please God by our faith.

You can read as much of this as you like, but I hope to leave this as I left if last night.  But as you read, I have this important link to add that I couldn’t get until the Lord released me to know it.

How do we show contempt for God’s Name?

What is our sacrifice today … now that Jesus summed up all the commandments in two?

How do you love the Lord your God?

How do you love your neighbor as your self?

The answer my friend is by God’s Mercy & Grace!  The answer to pleasing God is to put off bitter envy and selfish ambition to be soft enough in our heart to change our mind to follow Jesus, the true way of Love.

Is any sacrifice too great to show God how grateful you are for what Jesus has done for you?  Or, are you too proud to forgive?  Or, are you too stubborn to pray?  Or, are you too righteous to repent?

“The Lord of Heaven’s Armies says to the priests: “A son honors his father, and a servant respects his master. If I am your father and master, where are the honor and respect I deserve? You have shown contempt for my name (Malachi 1:6 NLT)!”

1If I speak in the tongues Or languages of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, 13:3 Some manuscripts body to the flames but do not have love, I gain nothing (1 Corinthians 13:1-3 NIV).

A key can be keyed to any lock; and the same key can work for multiple locks, but the key has to be keyed to the lock 1st.  As Jesus is the our gift of Salvation and Grace, But only the key / lock that is keyed to God’s key can unlock the mysteries of His Grace.  Have you keyed your heart to God’s Key to the Kingdom?

God’s Kingdom Come through Christ Jesus to us.  Jesus is God’s Truth for your heart!  Jesus is God’s Way for your heart to abide in & with God whom is for you!  Jesus is God’s way to reconcile your relationship with Him, who is life; and life everlasting. Jesus is that Key to life that reconnects us to God / for sin separated us from God.

The Key to the Kingdom resides with the Holy Spirit whom draws you.  When you believe  and receive God through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, you will never be the same! The Key to the Kingdom is held in your heart to open the door to Jesus.  Love is the way …

God loved us first!  Now we abide in Him through His Son!  The Key is Love!

Love is patient.

(am I being patient with (NAME) ___  / in this (SITUATION) ___)

(If my peace is missing …I will remember to trust God, seek His will; & I will surrender my will [my thoughts, mind and emotions for God’s will] to God fully),

Pause,  Ponder Pray Before I respond / react … To act with God!  God will give you a method to overcome every temptation!

Love is kind.

Kind defined:  a group of people or things having similar characteristics … as God is Patient & Kind.

It (LOVE) does not envy, it(LOVE) does not boast, it(LOVE) is not proud.

Am I putting anything above my growing relationship with God; or above my desire to walk with God?  Salvation through Christ Jesus brings us into a personal relationship with God.

Boast?  How do we shine, but not blind… for God’s glory / not ours ~ that others can see God living in us … SO THAT they can come to know and believe in the love God has for them for their personal Salvation.

Spiritual Balance is trusting God, whom makes all things grow.

It(LOVE) does not dishonor others, it(LOVE) is not self-seeking, it(LOVE) is not easily angered,

it (LOVE) keeps no record of wrongs.

Keep that list of wrongs short & trimmed and in the right hand of God, Jesus, through Prayer!  Release it to Jesus, because of how much God has so loved you!  … and all who will come to believe.  Don’t get in your own way of Grace.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It (LOVE) always protects, (LOVE)always trusts, (LOVE)always hopes, (LOVE)always perseveres.

God is LOVE (1 John 4:16).

Love never fails!

(1Corinithians 13:4-8, NIV).”

This is what I mean by gracefully broken.
“We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him (1 John 4:16, AMP).”

God first loved us; [Let that soak in…] and we can come to know and believe in the love God has for us.  He who abides in love; abides in God, and God in Him (1 John 4:16 emphasis mine).  The Way to life with God is through the Jesus whom left us Peace!

How much do you think of Jesus?  How much of your heart do you open to Him.  Is there any compartment in your heart that you have locked, sealed shut and perhaps are not even aware of the offense you are still carrying with you that doesn’t even belong to you?

Jesus has the Key to set your heart free!!!

When we give God our Best trust … no matter how big that trust is; God will make our trust Grow!  When we give God our trust, we experience the unconditional Love, Comfort & Joy of God through His Son, because of YES!  There is HOPE in Jesus!

When we receive this, we will never be the same!

The free Grace of God can flow freely through your very soul.

The Key (Believing & Receiving) we hold in our heart [Yes, Jesus stands at the door of our heart knocking]  unlocks the door to know the mysteries of God’s Son, Jesus who sets our heart free!

Partaking in the sacrifice of unconditional love unlocks the mysteries of experiencing God’s flowing & powerful unfailing Grace!

Yesterday as I passed through my trial,

My heart was keeping a record of wrongs, but I let it go, when I saw my heart through the eyes of God. The Key to the Kingdom set my heart free!

I hope this is a blessing to you to know that you are not alone.

I was pumped when I heart this song this morning, “Tasha Cobbs Leonard – Gracefully Broken.” was on K-Love!   I felt so free and full of a huge strength of what this means to be gracefully broken … after the storm passes.  I suppose, it is best that I am not pumped right now, but still I have this message to share with you today.  Perhaps, and only God knows, you may be feeling gracefully broken, but in the middle of gaining that understanding [like I was last night / and will be again as I continue to Grow & continue to be transformed in God’s Grace]?  (Gracefully Broken)

May I encourage you to keep your faith and remember how Jesus speaks to the storms.  When Jesus is the foundation to your faith … Yes, first :  if you have never opened the door to your heart to let Jesus come in your life to make you right with God, if you are drawn by the Spirit of Peace, ask Him (Christ Jesus) to come in to your life. Ask Him to help you understand and grow in your understanding about things of God.  Ask Him to help you trust God…  He will if you believe enough to ask Him.  Then, begin to grow in your relationship with him!

The truth is, you will still face troubles, but something remarkable happens every time we experience the living God working in our life!  It is a beautiful transformation of our mind and soul!

So hold on and don’t give up!

I wonder how the children of Israel felt after six days of marching?

The Walls of Jericho
10But Joshua had commanded the people: “Do not give a battle cry or let your voice be heard; do not let one word come out of your mouth until the day I tell you to shout.  Joshua 6:14So on the second day they marched around the city once and returned to the camp. They did this for six days.

How many times did the children of Israel walk around the walls of Jericho?

How do you know there is a rainbow after the storm?  How do you know there is a comfort in the trouble and a joy after the storm?  I just caught a glimpse of the sun shining beyond the hovering dark clouds. This is when I go to see a rainbow.  God sets the rainbow in the sky at just the right time when I see it.  And the tree tops literally glow!

I heard a quote on K-Love this morning on the way to work and I wrote it down for you.

“We don’t get a choice to worship; the only choice we get is what we worship…or; Whom we worship…”

Think about that.  What bogs you down most in your life?  Surrendering it all to Jesus is when we are freed to be gracefully broken. You don’t have to comment, but I do encourage you to think about this question, just between you and God.  And, then do something about it!

2 Timothy 3:16 New Living Translation (NLT)

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

It takes gracefully broken to gain understanding of why God lets us choose to worship Him.

Daily Devotion to God’s Holy Word

Gracefully Broken, by Karen Rowe

Hail means to call attention to something. If you’re hale, you’re strong and in good health.

To hail is to greet enthusiastically. And when it hails, ice falls from the sky and hits those hale people on the head. Hail, on the other hand, has the “i” for “ice,” but it’s also a verb — raise your arm and hail a cab, hail the queen, or hail a great success.

I pray this lifts your heart to praise & thanksgiving to God, The Father, The Son & The Holy Spirit.

Sometimes God sends a storm to help us see what really matters in this world. How are we doing? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; …

… and thy neighbour as thyself.
Luke 10:27 KJVhttps://bible.com/bible/1/luk.10.27.KJV

Do you enjoy a nice rain? How about a distant thunderstorm? I took this picture last night of the downpour! With the storm come a cool wind & Hail. The delicate blooms on this tree hung on to its limb as the wind waved it back and forth.

Isn’t this the way of a Christian life, when we follow Jesus? Yesterday I wrote about my mistake, but how God held me to swallow my pride. I learned that in this life, I only need to remember God is God & He pays attention to how we treat each other; especially when things don’t go the way we wanted them to go.

How will we respond when God says, “No”? Or when God says, not yet, like He told me once that I needed to read His Bible before I could serve Him. God has also told me that I will have to go through surgery; & I passed thru in His Presence with JOY.

How we respond to the things we go through determines how we pass through! We choose Jesus & can choose, because God chose us! If this doesn’t melt your heart, you need to hear that God loves you my friend & Jesus makes you my brother or sister! That explains why I care!

Do you know the voice of The Spirit of God who lives in you? Of course you CAN if you will OPEN the door to your heart to JESUS & let GOD come in your heart! Because Jesus said,
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. I and My Father are one (John 10:27‭, ‬30 NKJV).”

The method of following Jesus is Love.

Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit (Matthew 7:14‭, ‬16‭-‬16‭, ‬18 NKJV).”

Meet Karen: Hi, I am blessed, by God's good grace and because I know Jesus, I am blessed. I choose to be blessed, because I have a choice set before me and I refuse to look down. I trust God and I know and believe in the love God has for us. I have overcome difficulties; and I am blessed by the grace of God alone. If I have written about it, then I have felt the pain of it in some way, and to some degree. Did you know that Jesus has felt your pain? This is why I write. By God's grace I can identify; and tell you honestly, yes there is hope in anything and everything that you are facing today! Jesus is our Hope! He is the Truth, the Way and the Life. I am married a wonderful man, Robert Rowe; I love my husband and he loves me; and we have been married for 28 years. Together, we have been blessed with a wonderful daughter, named Amanda who is college now; and a wonderful son, named Daniel who is growing up well and soon to graduate elementary school. We work together and by God's grace we run our own business called PSI. We have a pastor over our ministry and over our business and also we depend on him for advise in our family. We have 2 dogs, 4 horses, 2 cats and love to spend time outdoors by the water and by campfires ... that is it seems when we can find time away from life's busy schedule. I love to write because it helps me learn more about God. And, I am driven by a passion from a love that God has put in my heart to share from my experiences and struggles, as I gain understanding in God’s Word to know how effective and powerful God is over our every situation! I share with you so you can know that you are not alone in your struggles. The same God who helps me and my family, is your help and shield as well! Life is not always easy, but it is possible –I like to share the difference that following Jesus makes in my life. And, I love to share God's patience and mercy and love that is with me! I am not perfect, but am experiencing God sanctify me through and through with every mistake I make; and yes, overcome in Christ! Life is not just about the successes; life on this earth is also about the troubles we overcome to discover what God has hidden in our faith to find! Troubles are more a challenge to grow in our faith ... It is not easy, but in the end the grace of God we discover is worth experiencing God in the midst. By Grace, I have discovered Jesus is Peace and He is my Joy and Wisdom from Heaven. God is our Provider and Healer and Creator, who is our help and shield over all things. By grace, I have experienced a nearness to God through my faith in His Son! We are well forgiven by God; and well blessed when we know and believe the love that God has for us. To say, "all is well with my soul" is a powerful knowledge to understand and experience. I sense God's desire for you to know His love for you and how deep His love for you is that He has SO loved you; God gave you His Son. God loves you right now just as you are! There is so much to learn! I believe that as we learn from God, we are God’s gift to each other. It is all God’s story –and for His glory; and God has SO loved us. I love to paint the vision that God has given me about a Father’s love –that God wants you to dream again and visualize His love for you! In God’s eyes, there’s more to life than we see; and in a world that sometimes misrepresents and misunderstands God and love; God wants you to have the courage to dream His dream and see His vision of a Father’s love for you! Many years ago, I prayed to God, “How can I tell a million people what I know about Your Son?” God showed me I had a gift of a ministry about God's Love; and He called it Hope in Today! I write to please God and I write to encourage you; and I write to spend quiet time with God. All because of this love that God has first shown me! I need Jesus –and my life is about my relationship with God. And, every blessing begins with Him! Love in Christ, Karen Rowe, Director Hope in Today Ministries, Inc.
