Who is Jesus to you? There’s a discussion that has popped up recently asking this question. Many follow Him for the miracles. Meaning they want blessing from Him but not much more. They want healing or their problems resolved but they are not really interested in changing.

The problem? They may feel inclined to stop following Him if they don’t receive miracles.

Jesus is The Messiah. He died to bring change in our lives not necessarily to continuously bring us miracles. If He choses to use a miracle, or more, in someone’s life, it’s only to draw them closer to Him. The miracles He Provides are not what our Relationship should be built on.

You want us to prepare our hearts and minds for action! We are to stay alert and fix our Hope firmly on the marvelous Grace that is coming to us. For when You, Jesus, is unveiled, a greater measure of grace will be released to us. As God’s obedient children, never again are we to shape our lives by the desires that we  followed when we didn’t know better. Instead, we need to shape our lives to become like the Holy One who called us.

(Taken From 1 Peter 1:13-15)

Lord, please, Help us to focus on what’s Truly important and not on a False Hope. Grow our Foundation in Christ on reality and not on things that don’t matter as much.

Thank You for Correcting us when and where we need it.

We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
