A Treasure On An Island…

Good morning beautiful people. I love the blessings of God every day. He always puts the wind back in our sails. No matter how battered the ship becomes, He takes our lives and puts us on His course once again.

I recently had the privilege to visit an Island and found some deep treasures there. Peace, tranquility and the presence of God’s spirit was evident on my short visit. The treasures were priceless as I look upon my mementos this morning. A small chest and a memory book for my grandchild was some of my great finds. Along with a few hours in a place where peace abides and God’s presence was so evident.

Today, know that you are God’s treasure. If you are His, He has you etched in the palm of His hand. (Isaiah 49:16) If you don’t know Him, today is your day. His love abounds throughout the universe and He desires to journey life with you. Just find a moment to talk with Him today. He longs to commune with you. You truly are the apple of His eye and He will hide you under the shadow of His wings. (Psalm 17:8)

Father, thank you for the peace that transcends all understanding. Your watchful eye keeps our ships sailing in the right direction. You light the path every day with Your Word. Thank you for your presence that dwells in us and around us.

As we journey today, may we be a vessel that you use to bring hope and healing to a battered life as we lead them to the light of  Jesus Christ. Amen

Have a blessed day beautiful people. He loves you with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)

1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
