UPDATED SATURDAY JULY 14th at 6:17am:

We continue to pray for the family of Jeremy Reynalds. Jeremy, the founder of Joy Junction in Albuquerque passed away to Heaven this past week at age 60. I am still in shock. I did not know he was ill.

I interviewed him several times on KKIM radio, the passion he exhibited for JESUS and for homeless people grabbed my heart.

This verse fits the life Jeremy lived: Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done. Proverbs 19:17

Joy Junction announced Wednesday that its founder and CEO Jeremy Reynalds died. Joy Junction released a statement saying Reynalds died after fighting a long-term illness.

Reynalds founded Joy Junction in 1986.

A Memorial Service celebrating Jeremy’s life will be held Tuesday at 2pm at Calvary Church, 4001 Osuna NE in Albuquerque.

This morning the Albuquerque Journal’s Rick Nathanson has an outstanding tribute to Jeremy! ABQ Journal Report

ABQ Journal Story on Jeremy

Pastor Richard Mansfield of New Beginnings Church in ABQ wrote this: It is with great sadness that I share this news. Dr. Jeremy Reynalds the founder and Executive Director of Joy Junction has gone on to glory. Heavens gain is definitely New Mexico’s loss. He was a great brother and friend and an amazing visionary. He impacted so many and gave the homeless a hand up. Please join me in praying for his family, ministry and those that were directly affected by his loss.

Thank you Pastor Richard

God Bless the memory of Jeremy!
