Morning Prayer

We are facing times where others try to tell us the things we are supposed to do to truly worship God. A lot of these “requirements” are difficult to keep and in fact, can be called legalistic. Let’s ask for Guidance from The Holy Spirit in following The Things of God and not man made doctrine.

Holy Spirit, You said that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, that forbide marriage. That there would be some who command us to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who Believe and know The Truth. We ask for Your help to continue to Believe and not allow these teachings to affect us. (Taken from I Timothy 4:1, 3)

We also ask that You would Help us not get caught up in holding things over others that would become legalistic. We ask for Your Help to know and follow correct doctrine. We ask that You would use us to correctly lead others to True Godly Doctrine. We ask for Divine Intervention in others lives, that they wouldn’t fall into false teachings. Please, Help us all to have correct Discernment in teachings that men give.

We thank You that You are there to Help us. We thank You that You Intervene For us when we don’t know how to ask for Help. We thank You that You teach us when we need to learn.

We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
