After a short Hiatus, I have returned to bring you these devotions.
Psalm 119:137-144 (NKJV): Righteous are You, O Lord, And upright are Your judgments.
138 Your testimonies, which You have commanded, Are righteous and very faithful. 139 My zeal has consumed me, Because my enemies have forgotten Your words. 140 Your word is very pure; Therefore Your servant loves it. 141 I am small and despised, Yet I do not forget Your precepts. 142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your law is truth.
143 Trouble and anguish have overtaken me, Yet Your commandments are my delights.
144 The righteousness of Your testimonies is everlasting; Give me understanding, and I shall live
We can Trust God because He is Righteous and Upright. We can depend that He won’t change. We can depend that He will be Faithful. We can depend that He is Pure. We can depend on Him giving us Truth.
Why does this matter? Because then we shouldn’t have any worries. He guides us. He will deliver us from our enemies. He does this for us, even when we are not perfect.
He will bring things like this for us, when we seek to have a Relationship with Him that is True and not wishy-washy. His True Desire for us is for us to seek Him and to Know Him. He desires for us to be honest with Him. He wants us to seek Him intimately. He wants us to not be afraid. This means that if we choose to Follow Him, we should be committed without any doubt and any intention to return to the old life.
We will continue to be looking at Psalm 119 in sections. Although, we need Jesus to bring us back into A Relationship with God The Father, this Psalm lays a foundation of how we should be walking in our Faith walks.
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.
We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
