I want to share with you a post from Veterans Day 2016 that Pastor Jerry McCullah, a Vietnam Veteran, shared with us……..

Gracious Loving Heavenly Father, You are far greater than we, mere men, could ever imagine, or even desire.   We praise You as our Creator and Sustainer.

Lord, in days past, You moved men to pray, and to hope, for a place to live and worship You in freedom.  You inspired men to bring this land into being which we proudly call home.   We praise You for America.

Lord, You have motivated the best and most courageous men and women to proudly serve and defend our much-loved nation.

On this Veteran’s Day, we remember and honor our military veteran’s.     It is their service which made it possible for us to live in freedom and safety, so today, Lord; we honor those who have served our country.    Bless those who have served with both earthly and heavenly blessings for their selfless love of America.  Please, Lord, abundantly provide their needs; enable them to overcome every personal and professional hindrance.

May all of our veterans feel honored and cared for, not just today, but always.

And then, Father, we remember our wounded warriors.    Far too many of our heroes must deal with physical and emotional wounds as a result of their service to our country.   Please, please, make certain that they are given the best treatments available and give Your blessings to all who help them in their every need.  Lord, show them divine miracles as they seek out health, strength, peace, and wholeness.

We are honored and humbled to pray these things in Jesus’ name, Amen!
