Just Look & See What God Has Done! By, Karen Rowe

Dear Readers of FGGAM,

I sense that someone needs to hear that God is for them; that in spite of all you see, God loves you.  Friend’s in Christ, we are not meant to stay the way we are; no more so than a butterfly was meant to remain a caterpillar!

This morning on my way home, I saw images of God’s love for us in the simplest of ways!

I saw the sky like a canvas to illuminate the pasture that fed the cattle; and the cattle stood out for me to see.  Colors become illuminated through new eyes in Christ, like the cloud cover shields our eyes from the brightness of the sun.  God is light; and God is love!  God is more than brilliant!  God is brilliance!  Sometimes, we just need to see with simple eyes to find that place, in which (of Whom) peace and joy radiate through the Holy Spirit and fill our heart, mind and soul with Praise to the Father, who has long loved us SO!

I saw two little birds sitting on a power line stretched out along the highway.  They were just sitting there, looking like a bird!  How much more simple can life be?  Friends, sometimes, we complicate our life with things, thoughts, attitudes, self-will, emotions, desires, etc.  But life with God is blessed beyond comprehension!

I have been seeing God answer some powerful prayers lately! What is different this time?  My heart that believes!  I have seen God answer prayers my entire life.  Yet, something is growing different in me; and that is an increasing awareness that God is God; and God has SO loved the world!

I am learning to let go and set free; and as soon as I get out of my own way; God moves for me!  Lord have mercy, If we truly get whom you are Father God, we will never be the same!

Friends, we were not made for this world! This world was made for us!  We are here for a purpose; and by God’s own design!  Let’s strive to get to that place of living life by the Spirit; to experience the Fruit of the Spirit continually and unconditionally!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23 King James Version).”

There are Benefits to Living in God’s Grace!  I hope this is a blessing to you!

Daily Devotion to God’s Word

Just a couple of days ago, huge pure white snowflakes were falling from the sky!

It was a sight to see; and this is what I noticed!

Spring Peach blooms stood out! And, the white hyacinths paled to cream in color with the white snow that settled on them!

To paint the image of devotion, the Peach bloom is what makes the fruit!

Sometimes seasons of tests & trials come to us like this spring snow come to this peach tree. BUT regardless of the storm; or whether this year’s blooms will be successful, or not, to produce the fruit of the tree, we still know this tree by its fruit!

A peach tree will not produce oranges!

And a Christian relationship with God has one fruit as Scripture defines.

But the fruit that the Spirit produces in a person’s life is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these kinds of things .”

Galatians 5:22-23 Easy-to-Read Version

AS WE GROW in our relationship with God through Christ Jesus, Savior the Lord, by God’s free grace; and growth by our faith, Spiritual Fruit produces and reflects who we are in our heart who loves God, but still pales to the Perfection of The Christ!

Lord, if we get this, we will never be the same!  We worship our one True and Living God!

Everything else in this world pales in comparison to where God is taking us!

We get a glimpse! And we get a choice! And we get the experience! And if we get this, we will never be the same!

This is a given fact! A Peach Tree produces Peaches / not oranges.  And, Our personal decision to follow Christ intersects with people. The world should see the fruit of Christ in our life!

The fruit we produce is

the image in our heart

The fruit we produce is the image in our heart!

What / Who is the image in your heart?  God warns people of the dangers of worshiping idols … Idols are an image.  Is there anything that controls your heart other than loving God?  What / Whom is the image that fills your heart?  ~ IS THE IMAGE, …CHRIST? Or, is your heart filled with another image?

To be honest & Share …

Sometimes, and to be honest, continuously, God shows me my heart needs cleaned up; and I can recognize this by the evidence of the Fruit of the Spirit of God being active or inactive in my heart.

Patience from the mind to the heart

Am I being patient (more than in my mind) in my heart?  How about kind?   “Patient and Kind 1st describe LOVE; and God is love and he who abides in love abides in God and God in him (1 Co 13:4; 1 John 4:16).”  (Emphasis Mine)

Life is blessed by God & set before us IS: LIFE & death; BLESSINGS & curses.  God says, Choose Life; and Choose Blessings.

Why would anyone choose to idolize sin? Pray about this. The Lord showed me, because until we reach the point that we hate the sin & hate what sin does, human nature will look back!

Lot’s wife was spared, rescued & instructed NOT to look back! BUT she DID look BACK! What happened to her? And, what can we learn from this warning of looking back at sin?

Was she truly grateful to leave a sinful place? Did she hate the sin they left behind? Was she longing for what was ahead? WHY did she LOOK back? What is God saying to us today about the dangers of being on the fence of grace?

I have always thought this is an extreme story, but now that God revealed to me life application, it is such a story of love & devotion!

God warns us of looking back for one reason, because if we look back we choose to keep part of our heart there.

Where is your heart?

What a teaching we have in the accounts given in the Bible! God can’t help those who are not committed to moving forward with Christ.

I hope this is a blessing to you,

Blessings,

Karen
