Joe Diaz of KOAT TV reports: The latest Drought Monitor released today was not good for New Mexico. Now 87% of the state is in at least a Moderate Drought. That’s nearly “double” the amount from one week ago!

Well, it barely wet the driveway here at our house on the west side of Albuquerque, but from our house we could see the Sandias get snow! What a beautiful sight! The picture that is posted here is the one I took yesterday looking at the Sandias from our house when the light rain began to fall at our house at 7am.

The sad news is that the outlook for rain or snow is not good.
