New Eyes For Christmas…

Good morning beautiful people. A few weeks ago I was texting with a friend and I made a comment that wasn’t very uplifting but sort of in a round about way criticizing for this persons lack of responsibility. The person responded, I did the best I could. In this persons eyes, I bet they thought they did. In my eyes, I thought they did not. Thank God for the Holy Spirit. I immediately felt convicted of my words. I began having thoughts like what if they are telling the truth? What if this is their best? Maybe there is some things in their life you do not know. I began to ask for forgiveness and ask God for His eyes. I prayed God please keep my heart soft and pliable unto your mighty working hand.
Father, today thank you for your love. Your love changes us from glory to glory. Thank you for not leaving us as we are. Your heart is our hearts desire. Sometimes we think wrong, or we think others should live up to our expectations and they are giving or doing their very best. Forgive us God and sharpen our compassion for others. Do a deeper work in us (in me) we pray. May our eyes see what you you see. Thank you for ordering our footsteps today. Every person is valued. If they were important enough for you to die for, empower us to reach them and treat them accordingly. Forgive us, (me) when I have failed them and give us new eyes today. May we see as you see.
