LORD, What’s Going On?

LORD, there are too many mother’s crying, there are far too many brother’s dying. LORD, we must find a way to show Your love today.  Our fathers, who should be showing the right way, are bent on displaying anger, prejudice, and violence as the way.  God fearing people know war is not the answer, as only love can conquer hate.  Our world needs to know that You, LORD, are the Way.

LORD, I pray for all the lives which have been affected by tragedy through deliberate act, accident, or natural disaster.  I pray for all, across our world, who are mourning their way through a life that feels too long to bear—immerse each one in Your loving presence.   Be the Light that guides them through this valley of darkness. LORD, in Your world, there are those who strive to comfort those in distress.   May their words and actions be Yours delivered through them to broken humanity.  By Your Spirit, and through Your children, fill this world with an overwhelming sense of Your love and the Life You offer through Jesus Christ, Amen!
