This is from Shonda Savage one of the speakers at the Revival…………

I’m excited to be a part of the Harvest of Hope East Mountain Revival in Edgewood, NM, this upcoming Saturday, September 9th.

If you live near or around Edgewood, I hope you’ll come out and join us for this full day of festivities at the park.

I want to thank Pastor Dewey Moede and Kelly Snelgrove for extending this invitation to me to share what the Lord puts on my heart.

Six years ago, I found myself in a situation I never imagined. My oldest son was arrested, convicted, and sentenced to state prison.

We all have different burdens and testimonies, but no matter what we trials face, we must keep our faith in the ONE TRUE GOD through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Without Christ, our circumstances will certainly crush us. With Christ, He gives us rest and carries our burdens for us (Matthew 11:28-30).

When faced with this heartbreaking situation, one godly man spoke into my life and said, “Shonda, journal everything that happens to you. Once you’ve been comforted, you’ll be comforting others.”

Frankly, at the time, I didn’t want to hear what he said, but he was paraphrasing God’s word.

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NLT).

God’s word does not return void, but accomplishes what He sends it to do (Is 55:11).

Now six years later that Scripture has come to pass in my life. I have been comforted. I have been strengthened. Now I’m sharing the hope we have in Christ Jesus with others.

If you have someone you love in prison, there’s hope in Christ Jesus!

If you’re facing other trials in life, there’s hope in Christ Jesus!

Hold on and never ever give up! We have hope!

Come out to Edgewood, NM, on Saturday, September 9th. I’ll be sharing my testimony and a word of hope.

Other men and women of God will be there sharing a message of hope too. Along with some fabulous music!

On Saturday come ready to harvest hope for your life! I look forward to meeting you there.

Will you join us there?
