Good Morning Beautiful People….Your Grandchildren Are Over The Top
Good Morning Beautiful People. This morning as I read the Word of the Lord to my two grandsons Mason and Evan, I thought about this post once again. It is so true, everyone thinks their grandchildren are over the top. I call my grandchildren world changers and encourage them to pray and believe in Jesus. He has the master plan for their lives. They were going to write today’s post with me but decided to discover what may be in some packed boxes.
This morning I thought about each of my grandchildren’s grand entrance into our world. I remember when Mason my first grandson was born. I spoke about him almost every day to my former boss. She would be so kind and listen attentively. One day she said to me Angel, everybody thinks their grandchildren are the best. I said really? I think mine are over the top. Then came precious Evan, precious Emmett, precious Jaxson, precious Lillian, Maisie and now precious Mia. She was right, they are all over the top. As I listened to other grandmother’s share their stories, I tried to listen attentively (just like my former boss) and I soon discovered every grandmother is full of stories and there is no one like their grandchild. Every grandchild is over the top. It is so true.
So today, let’s pray for our grandchildren.
Father, thank you for the lives of our grandchildren. Oh God, thank you for giving your angels charge over them. We pray Lord that they would come to know you as their Lord and savior at a young age. Let the Word of the Lord go deep into their little hearts and spirits today, I pray. May they never forget the most important words they will ever read is Your Word. These Words don’t return void.
Oh God, we join our faith across this globe today for the plan you have for each of our grandchildren. Lord, may they grow up discovering early the gifting you have placed inside. Each child designed differently, all created in your image, Oh God. These precious children are a gift from you and we give you thanks.
Father, we pray for wisdom for parents. We all want our children to have the best. The best gift cannot be bought with money, it must be taught. We pray parents would teach their children the ways of the Lord. The world will try to shape their little lives in just that- the ways of the world. You instruct us to teach them the ways of the Lord. We petition you, Oh God, on behalf of all our grandchildren and join our faith across this globe and thank you for pouring out Your spirit on them. God, may their generation grow up to be world changers for Jesus. We pray for strength for their parents and wisdom beyond their years.
Today, we ask you Oh God, that our grandchildren will leave a mark on this world for you. May the things of this world grow dim, in light of journeying with the King of Glory Himself. Nothing compares to training up a child in the way they should go, according to your Word.
Father, we pray we will all be good examples to these children. Hand pick the teachers they will have. Send people to speak into their lives in a positive way. Thank you Holy Spirit for bringing to remembrance the Word of God that they have in their heart. May it increase.
Today, we thank you once again for your amazing grace. You are an amazing God. Children and grandchildren was Your idea.
