The Power of God’s Word
God wants us to use his power through his word.
Romans 1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.
For every believing heart there is power in the spoken word of God. The word reveals God’s nature and his nature reflects his will. He and his word cannot be separated. He keeps his word and his word will work in our lives if we believe.
Belief is trust in action. His word is alive
John 6:63 The Spirit gives life , the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.
God fulfills his word, not our suggestions or feelings.
The word builds our faith and faith is simple taking God at his word. His word says to walk by faith not by sight. We don’t look for the answer, we wait for the answer, for He is the answer. Faith is not believing that God can, its knowing that he will.
No matter what challenges we face we need to keep our faith and trust in God and He will always come through for us. It is his promise.
2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made , they are yes in Christ. And so through him the Amen is spoken by us to the glory of God.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Psalm 33 :4 The word of the Lord is right and true, he is faithful in all he does.
Thank you Lord for your word and your faithfulness. When trials come, my faith in you will see me through. I will speak your promised word over every situation that will come my way. I will give you thanks and praise , to you be all the glory! Amen
