US Ambassador Nikki Haley Arrives in Israel

US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley landed in Israel Wednesday morning for a three day visit which will include meetings with senior officials, briefings on various security threats and related issues and viits to some of Israel’s most famous landmarks.”The citizens of Israel are delighted to welcome you today in our country and thank you for standing strongly alongside us,” said Israeli ambassador to the UN Danny Danon.

IS Claims Responsibility for Attack on Iranian Parliament

The Islamic State (IS) terror militia was claiming responsibility for a shooting attack Wednesday morning at the Iranian Parliament building and the nearby Mausoleum of Ayatollah Khomeini. At least 12 people were reported killed in the attack, including the four gunman, who approached the parliament building dressed as women before opening fire.

Crisis in Arab Gulf Deepens

The growing crisis between the Persian Gulf emirate of Qatar and its neighbors took another turn for the worse on Tuesday evening when Jordan announced it was downgrading, but not yet cutting, diplomatic relations and revoking the license of Doha-based TV channel Al Jazeera, which is linked to the Moslem Brotherhood. Qatar has also sought assistance from nearby Kuwait, but on Tuesday, US President Donald Trump dove into the discussion by posting on Twitter that Qatar had been identified to him by several Arab leaders during his recent visit to the region as a prime supporter of Hamas and other terrorist organizations.

Israel Blesses the world

Prof. Jeffrey Drazen, editor-in-chief of the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine, was in Israel recently for a conference and came away from the experience singing the praises of the Jewish State. “In general, Israeli medical research is world class in many fields,” he told The Jerusalem Post. “You are very productive. It’s amazing for a country of fewer than nine million people.”

Sears Website Offering Anti-Israel T-shirts

Onloine shoppers were shocked this week to discover that the American retail giant Sears has begun selling T-shirts glorifying Palestinian terrorism against Israeli on its website. The T-shirts, displaying a clenched fist in the colors of the Palestinian national banner and the words “Free Palestine, End the Israeli Occupation” are accompanied by an injunction to “Make a statement about the Arab-Israeli conflict with this powerful design.”
