When Life’s Difficulties Are Too Much To Handle

Do you feel like the difficulties are too much to handle? What if those difficulties really are too much for you to handle? It's during the times where we are at our weakest point that we are more willing to turn to God and depend on His strength rather than our own.

Have you ever felt crushed under the weight of life’s difficulties? Waiting for the straw that would break the camel’s back?

Are you being tossed to and fro like a ship in a storm?

Do you feel like the difficulties are too much to handle? What if those difficulties really are too much for you to handle?

The Christian life is not a cakewalk. We were warned in God’s word that we will experience difficulties. John 16:33 says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

The Lord allows us to go through trials that are more than we can handle in our own strength and face situations we are powerless to do anything about. It is during those times when we are at our weakest point that we are more willing to turn to God and depend on His strength and His peace. In the most harrowing of times, we have no option but to fully trust in Him.

God knew how hard our troubles would be. He knew the storms of life would batter us and break us. That’s why He offered us His strength and peace through His word.

He will see us through as we place our trust in Him. When trials are too difficult for me, if I place my trust in Him, He gives me His strength. Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

As I trust in Him, I know anything is possible. “Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God” (Luke 18:27). I can overcome the difficulties in life with His help and hope.

In the difficult times, will you stand firm, trust God, and rely on His word?
