Thank you Pastor Richard Mansfield of New Beginnings Church in Albuquerque for sharing on the life of Cowboy Chaplain Joe Bob Kyle. I remember Joe Bob fondly, he carried with him such joy in our LORD! AMEN!

Joe Bob Kyle was born on October 27, 1948 to his loving parents Thurman Frances “Jack” Kyle and Barbara Adele Johnson. He passed away on February 28 2017.

Joe Bob was preceded in death by his parents Thurman Frances “Jack” Kyle and Barbara Adele Johnson. He is survived by his only sister Jackie Kyle Krshka and her two children Kyle Krshka and Katy Krshka. Joe Bob grew up on a working cattle, horse and sheep ranch in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. He graduated from High School in Santa Rosa and briefly attended Southeastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico. Joe Bob had a varied array of talents, acquiring his pilot’s license, insurance license and at one point working in the culinary industry. However, after the loss of his mother, Joe Bob found his true calling, in serving the Lord and ministering to Christian Cowboys at Rodeos. Joe Bob was a lifetime member of the New Mexico Rodeo Association and Cowboys for Christ.

He had a passion for the word of God and always had the thoughts of others before himself. He was loved and embraced by so many within his church and always could count on the loyal friendship of Susan Conway, Frank Luna, Mario Lozoya and many others. Joe Bob’s wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread on the Ranch in Santa Rosa. A memorial service will be held at the New Beginnings Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday, March 25th at 10:00 a.m.

We are in prayer for the family and friends, God Bless the memory of Joe Bob Kyle!
