ICYMI- both pro-life bills were voted down by the same House Dems… again. BUT, I’m inspired by sooo many amazing people God has brought together. We heard incredible, heart wrenching, heartfelt stories today — people opening up and speaking about the pain of abortion and abuse in their lives, some for the first time ever! I’m still in awe of it all, and despite the sadness in my heart about the defeat of our bills, I’m also so inspired and impressed by everyone coming together in such a beautiful way. My heart is so full right now. I have so much more to say but mainly I’m thankful. Sometimes I have felt like a lone voice in the wilderness where nobody but a handful care about the injustices all around us, but today I felt surrounded by angels and servants speaking the truth in boldness and love. I’m so proud of everyone coming together to speak up for the voiceless and the victims. For the pastors and their faithful putting together an incredible service, getting out the word and praying! History is being made. I’m so overwhelmed by the inspirations that you all shared in testimony really touched my heart. Like many are noticing, the tide is turning in NM and WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS. I’m thankful for all the new friends and beautiful souls I met today and these last weeks– legislators, pastors, activists, moms, dads, grandmothers, nurses and doctors and everyday citizens who care. Thank you for lifting this battle weary warrior from the ashes and inspiring me to keep fighting together for the innocent babies, moms, children, families and our state.
God Bless you Elisa Martinez and all you do for God’s Babies.
From Yesterday:

Two New Mexico pro-life bills were heard today by a House Committee: HB220 – Partial and Late-Term Abortion and HB221 and . Both bills were tabled. New Mexico Democrats just cannot vote for life. Democrats Eliseo Lee Alcon, Patricia Roybal Caballero and Deborah Armstrong voted to table the bills and Republicans Monica Youngblood and Bob Wooly voted not to table.

FGGAM Pastor Ricky Gordon, pictured, was one of the many who testified before the committee, urging passage of both bills.

I just keep shaking my head at this ugliness…..in New Mexico you need a note to take an aspirin at school, but a minor can go have an abortion with out parent notification!

Pastor Bill Ruhl of Global Destiny Ministries in Albuquerque and Vice-Chairman of FGGAM said, “Time to turn over the tables of the “money changers” in this land… and yes, it’s all about unfair gain. Absolutely shameful.”

Pastor Don Kimbro of Albuquerque said, “Arrghh … That’s why we keep praying. Bless all of you who were there. It’s not over yet.”
1 Corinthians 15:58

This is a very sad day in New Mexico. HOWEVER!!!…………….

The Body of Christ did come together in a huge way today, gathering for a Church service at 9am, (pictured) before the hearings, at the Capital led by Pastor Brian Alarid, who delivered an AWESOME sermon!! POWERFUL! Unity continues to grow among Christians in New Mexico!!! PTL!!! In this way, it was a very historic day at the Capital! PTL!!

Let us continue to pray for our State and for the softening of hearts.

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven Matthew 18:3
