Marijuana Bill Scheduled for Judiciary

Please Note: SB 278 Cannabis Revenue and Freedom Act (Ortiz y Pino-D Albuquerque) is on the agenda of the Senate Judiciary Committee today Friday, February 10, 2017 Room 321. This bill will legalize marijuana in New Mexico (See https://www.nmlegis.gov/Sessions/17%20Regular/bills/senate/SB0278.pdf)
The committee meeting is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. or a half-hour after the Senate floor session end. Eleven bills are scheduled for this committee this afternoon. Because the agenda is at the discretion of the Chairman, Senator Richard C. Martinez, it is uncertain if the bill will be heard today.
