Have You Ever Heard Of Rusagonis?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I just gotta tell you about a little journey I have been on. I interviewed on the River Radio program on the Joy Network in New Brunswick, Canada in January, 2017. The incredible radio talk show host Kim McKay White lead the worship at the Healing Waters Women’s Conference in Bridgewater, Maine last September. After the interview Kim told me she was going to the Worship Barn that night. I was tired and needed to head home. I was singing, praying and doing what I do, as I traveled the road back. I remember saying something like God, I don’t know what Kim’s doing in a barn worshiping you, but I would like to know more about it, I guess. If you want me to go, will you set it up? I wanted to know more, I had to know more if this was a God thing. What are they doing in this barn? I asked God, as I traveled the snowy night back to America across the river.
Well sure enough some of my friends from another church contacted me and asked me to go to the Global Awakening Conference with them in Rusagonis, New Brunswick, Canada. It was being held in this barn. It is so hard to find words to describe what happens in worship to people. God loves the praises of His people.
I saw people’s countenance change in the presence of God as Kim led worship at the Healing Waters Conference last September in Bridgewater, Maine. I wanted to know more, I had to know more if this was a God thing. What are they doing in this barn? I asked God several times as I traveled the road to home.
There were several worship leaders and they have been worshiping and praying since June 2016 for Revival. They have worshipers, praising and worshiping God 24 hours a day for periods of time. As you know, I have been writing and sensing an awakening for a bit now. This global awakening is real. There are pockets of fire all over. This fire is burning in Rusagonis, New Brunswick, Canada. I missed the dedication of their new barn as I was interviewing Paul Martini from Global Awakening during that time. The first barn is filled to capacity. They had to build another one.
A woman in the middle of the service got up and sang You Are So Beautiful. There was no music, just her voice. I just about come undone. She asked permission and began to sing as she was being obedient to her king. The Healing Waters Conference- He Calls Me Beautiful came back to my mind. I was getting excited. I wish I could have stayed a week there, but the few days I was there-79 people reported physical healings. In addition, I heard local pastors from different churches bring pure Word.
As I was preparing my heart to go to the barn, I remembered my interview with singer, songwriter Elizabeth Rhyno from several years ago. The songs she penned Undefiled Worship taught me some things. The song she wrote Refuge was another song I just loved. Listen to theses songs on itunes. Ask Jesus to do this work in your life, if you are willing. He will answer.
Here’s my short prayer:
Father, we wanna be more like you, because there’s a world out there that is in need of you. Lord, if you can set a barn on fire and bring healing, deliverance and freedom to people, can you ignite the fire in our churches across this globe. Fire from heaven, fall we pray, as we worship you in spirit and in truth.
Oh God, forgive our man made rules, forgive our best efforts and most of all forgive our lack of compassion for Your people. You are a God of love.
Thank you for the fire. Blaze spirit blaze, all across this land we pray. Flow river flow. Amen
