I ask that You, the immeasurable source of all wisdom, might grant them wisdom daily, for our nation to prosper in righteousness and unity, and resulting in right and good and peaceful for relations with the nations of the world.
I implore that You, the God of all love, Who is Love, might give to them hearts of deep love for You and for others, including those considered to be our nation’s enemies and even those self-proclaimed enemies within our nation as well, having a deepened commitment to work in concert for peace and unity through justice. I pray that the Word of God, Your Word, Father, might shape and direct our new leader’s vision for our world; empower President Trump and Vice President Pence to do what is right, and that Your righteousness and justice will shape policies and organizations.
LORD, give President Trump the grace to speak peace to all; grant him the poise of unity to bring together this divided nation, along with our Senate and House, our financial leaders, the common worker, and our state leaders and citizens; that You, Jehovah Rophe, might grant him the graceful power to reconcile wounded relationships at home and abroad, to the extent that healing results linking all races, all nations, and all men and women.
LORD God, grant Mr. Trump the undying commitment to be the leader and protector for all the living — the unborn and born, the young and old, the civilian and the soldier — to preserve life and respect.
Father, I beg for Your protection over Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence, as well as their respective families. I commit myself to also pray for each family as a family, protect each of their wives and all their children from all harm.
All of this and the more that fills my heart with concern, I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
