BREAKING: Former Cuban President Fidel Castro dead at 90, brother Raul Castro announces
The former president was 90. Castro played a crucial role in the Cuban Revolution that overthrew Cuban President Fulgencio Batista in 1959. Castro resigned his role in 2012, allowing his brother to take power. The CIA announced in Nov. 2005 that it had concluded that Castro suffered from Parkinson’s disease.
