Good Morning Beautiful People…Do You Have A Heart To Help People?

Good Morning Beautiful People, I am so excited-yes I am. The International Fellowship of Chaplain training is being held for the first time in Presque Isle, Maine. From June 20-24, 2016 on Monday- Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Family Christian Center located at 112 Caribou Road, Presque Isle, Maine, according to local hostess Robin Beckwith.

The vision Statement of the IFOC is to see chaplains who are trained professionals providing meaningful, life changing service to the communities in which they live through involvement in every sector of community life, be it health and welfare, education, transitional living, emergency service and governmental support. Some of the training includes but not limited to: Chaplaincy and the Law, Stress Management, Critical Incident Stress Mgmt., PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder),Trauma, Grief and Loss, Death Notification, Depression/Suicidology, Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking and Disaster Preparedness.

Do you feel a tugging in your heart? Are you looking for a way to help out in your community or state? Do you sense the call For Such A Time as This?

Let’s join our faith and pray for this training: Father, thank you that you, Oh God, care deeply for people. We pray that everyone that is to attend this training from the north, south, west and the east will heed to the call. Thank you for rising up people all across this globe to step into deeper waters for your name sake. Amen

According to Chaplain Judy Vorce from IFOC- the training is open to anyone who has a heart to help people. She States that former students have commented that this training was so much more than what they had expected. She is married to Dr. David C. Vorse, Ed D. MCC President & CEO, Senior Chaplain, Major General of The International Fellowship of Chaplains, Inc. and this organization has been in existence for over 25 years states Chaplain Judy.

The IFOC is a non-profit organization, training and credentialing chaplain’s world-wide to bridge the gap between the secular and ministry world. IFOC prepares professional trained and dedicated Chaplains in various areas such as disaster response, fire, police, prison/jail, schools, sports, trauma/grief and loss, hospital, military and other areas.
