Call On The Good Father….

Matthew 7:7

Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Recently, I had conversation with a lady that shared she had prayed about babysitting one child to supplement her income. God asked her what do you want? So she told him the specifics (age, etc.) and He granted just that- a precious child. Her story reminded me of a sermon I heard once, Let God Know…

Sometimes, people get disappointed in life and they are afraid to ask God for what they need or desire. Maybe they haven’t had good examples to follow in life, or maybe they learned to go without on life’s journey. Whatever the reasons- put it in the past and believe the Word of God. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find. It say’s God desires to give good things to those who ask Him. He is a Good Father. Some people think they have to be perfect for God to answer their prayer. Who among us is perfect? Today, don’t be afraid to talk to Him (pray). He already knows what you have need of before you ask. (Matthew 6:8) He said to pray like this: Matthew 6:9-13

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Father, today we have need of (tell Him). God thank you that you are interested in every need of our lives. Thank you for being a good Father. Thank you for our daily bread, thank you for your Word. You are watching over your Word to perform it. Thank you for journeying every day with us.

Have A Blessed Day Beautiful People, For this is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Talk to Him today, He’s a good Father.
