Breaking Up The Ice…

Today let’s pray a few scriptures on asking God Himself to keep the river flowing in our hearts. 

Proverbs 28:13-14  

Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.  Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.

Ephesians 4:18  

They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.

Father, today we come before you and give you permission to examine our hearts. We love you Jesus and we want to make sure there is a flow of your spirit in our lives. We give you permission to show us anything that has hardened our hearts. We will obey whatever you tell us to do. Make it clear to us Oh God, for some of the rocks (wounds) have made our hearts stony. Break up the ice in our lives we pray.

Oh Lord, cleanse us. Break up the rocks (hardness), the ice (coldness) and let the love of God flow in us and through us. Lord, help us to be flexible so that the light of Christ may come to a people that may never know you otherwise.

Make our lives a river of life to others that are losing hope today. All across this globe today, let the river of God flow. For your glory alone Jesus, you are so worthy.
