Christians Gather to Celebrate Holy Week in Jerusalem

Smaller than usual numbers of pilgrims from several different Christian denominations and dozens of countries gathered in Jerusalem over the weekend for Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week. Events included the traditional procession from the Church of Bethpage on the Mount of Olives into the Old City and will continue with gatherings and ceremonies at various locations around Jerusalem throughout the week culminating with Good Friday.
