Ryan denounces Trump over KKK controversy: ‘There can be no evasion and no games’

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) on Tuesday delivered a scathing rebuke of Donald Trump, warning that the GOP presidential front-runner cannot engage in “evasion” or “games” when it comes to rejecting white supremacy groups.

“This is the kind of moment where we should be having a serious debate about the policies needed to restore the American idea,” Ryan told reporters on Super Tuesday. “Instead, the conversation over the last few days has been over white supremacy groups.”

Things are really breaking loose in the GOP Party, attempts to stop Trump. NBC news reports that a group wants Romney to run. This is the craziest thing we have seen since 1860 when the Whig party broke up……..is the Republican party about to break up? It could happen, we haven’t seen anything yet…….hang onto your seat America! Is this the end of the Republican party as we know it? I have been saying for years the GOP is split three ways…..

U.S. Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska has published a scathing open letter saying he won’t back Donald Trump — even if Trump becomes the Republican nominee.

“If Donald Trump becomes the Republican nominee, my expectation is that I will look for some third candidate,” he wrote on Facebook. “Mr. Trump’s relentless focus is on dividing Americans, and on tearing down rather than building back up this glorious nation.”
