Good Morning Beautiful People…The Prayer Experience Day 4

It is going by quickly, already over half way through the seven day journey together. This is from my prayer experience I attended in Presque Isle, Maine.

I began with Adoration and then I moved into the Thanksgiving Station, then into the Penitence Station, then Forgiveness Station and now journey into the Oblation station. We chose the order of how we traveled the stations and it was all based on the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13

Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth,  As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us.  And lead us not into temptation,  But deliver us from evil.  For thine is the kingdom,  The power, and the glory,  Forever and ever.  Amen.

I picked up a paper that read Oblation.

Oblation is an offering of ourselves, our lives and labors, in union with Christ, for the purposes of God.

Not my will but Thine be done (Luke 22:42)

Father, Glorify Thy Name (John 12:28)

Lord, make me and instrument of thy peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon;

Where there is doubt, faith;

Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light;

Where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

To be consoled as to console.

To be understood as to understand,

To be loved as to love;

For it is in giving that we receive;

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.

St. Francis of Assisi

Offer yourself up to God. Pour out your life before Him. Pour some water from the pitcher into the basin as you pray. What is God calling you to do at this time? Ask Him to show you? Ask Him to bring your work to perfection.

Take a Gold cross and follow Christ.

Now take a few moments and write out or speak out loud your prayer of oblation.

Here’s my prayer for us:

Father, you are our hearts desire. Your will is our will. We do take up our cross and follow you. Today, we pour out our lives before you. Lord, give us assignments bigger than what we are capable of doing, or could ever accomplish on our own. We desire for you to work through us, Oh Lord, for your glory and your glory alone. Amen

Have A blessed day, beautiful people. He has an assignment for you.
