Be Careful With Your Giving…
Today, let’s pray Matthew 6: 1-4
Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Father, thank you that you desire people to help others. Show us Lord, where to help, when to help and lead us to be a blessing to someone today we pray. May we be an answer to someone’s prayer today. May all your people be giving something of themselves.
This exchange of giving will look different for everyone. To some people you will ask to give away a smile, some will give in monetary ways and yet others may shake a hand. You see it all Lord and reward accordingly. Since it’s all for your glory Jesus, we thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be your hands and feet extended to a hurting world.
May the world know that you live because they witness the goodness of your people. May hope arise all across this globe today. Amen
