When will the Church get going on the issue of gambling, lottery and casinos?? So many stats are provided to FGGAM by Dr. Guy Clark of Stop Predatory Gambling New Mexico, that the lottery, gambling and casinos are hurting so many people, with crime,  bankruptcy, drugs, alcohol, poverty, people sleeping in cars at the casinos with no gas to “play it again” in the morning …etc…but the Church remains silent for the most part. The Church used to be the leader on social issues in America. When we moved to New Mexico in 1995 casinos and the lottery were the promisesguy clark to New Mexicans for new schools, better education, more wealth, better roads….etc…WHAT LIES!  We now see the results of the failure of the Church to be a leader in social issues for God, to stand in the gap for God. Where is the Church? Where is the Body of Christ?

Here is the latest Lottery Scandal

We only have ourselves to blame, not the government, but only ourselves!

The American Church has failed to come together for our Lord Jesus Christ and speak in ONE VOICE, the VOICE OF GOD and HIS WORD! The American Church needs unity, it is to divided at this point, with so many different agendas.

In the meantime the American Church is losing ground everyday.

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

Matthew 6:24

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Ecclesiastes 5:10

He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity.

Luke 12:15

And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

We, the Body of Christ, must stand in the gap for God on all social issues.

There is no doubt that New Mexico and the entire world are worse off, with gambling, lotteries and casinos.
