Weather extremes across the United States: I talked with friends yesterday in Elkhart, Indiana and they have no snow this winter! Our son Lars in Chicago has enjoyed a mostly mild and snow less winter thus far, there is a chance for snow in the Windy City today. Wildfires in California and Tornadoes in Texas and Mississippi with heavy rains and flooding.
