Albuquerque, NM- Today the leader of the late term abortion capital of the nation, Mayor Richard Berry, will give his “2016 State of the City” address. This Mayoral event is being held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque which is right across the street from Southwestern Women’s Option late term abortion facility. The city of Albuquerque is engulfed in an abortion crisis and Protest ABQ is urging Mayor Berry to address this in his address today.

Mayor Berry claims to be pro-life, however, he has not done one thing to protect the women and children in his city that face imminent death and possible injury from the out of control abortion industry in new Mexico.

Members of Protest ABQ have sought meetings with Berry and have even hand delivered letters to him about the state of his city, the late term abortion capital of the nation. These efforts have not been reciprocated by the Mayor’s office. Mayor Berry’s silence perpetuates the the innocent bloodshed that takes place each day in Albuquerque where baby’s are killed through all nine months of pregnancy.

State of the City of Albuquerque:

-Late term abortion capital under Mayor Berry.

-Killing Babies through all nine months of pregnancy.

-Staggering number of documented abortion injuries.

-Abortion facilities are operating out of zone.

-Ignoring baby body parts harvesting in violation of NM law.

Protest ABQ will be present to peacefully protest this event today beginning at 10:30am.  Our presence will serve to let attendees know the truth about the state of the city of Albuquerque and about Mayor Berry’s inaction to protect the most vulnerable in Albuquerque.

“It is imperative that Mayor Berry be held publicly accountable for what his city has become, the late term abortion capital of the country. If Mayor Berry is truly “pro-life” he will stop siding with leftist pro-aborts like Pat Davis who seek only to hide the reality that abortion kills human beings. He will not use his voice to try and stop the pro-life efforts of Protest ABQ while ignoring his own responsibility to tackle the out of control abortion cartel in his city. Instead he will do what is right and what he was elected for, to make Albuquerque a better place for all of it’s citizens,” stated Bud Shaver, Executive Director of Protest ABQ.

Mayor Berry, the streets of your city are full of the blood of the most defenseless children that is crying out for justice, what do you plan to do about it?

Please contact Mayor Berry’s office and ask him:

–What he plans to do about the abortion crisis we face here in Albuquerque?

-Why abortion facilities are operating out of zone?

-Why he is ignoring the women who have been and continue to be injured by Albuquerque abortion facilities?

-When does he plan to openly oppose the out of control abortion industry in HIS city and take proactive steps to change it?
