Good Morning Beautiful People, Pray, Pray, Pray…

This morning, I just wanted to continue to encourage you to persevere in prayer. This is no time to become lax about praying. We serve a covenant keeping God. His Word is yes and amen, and He is watching over His Word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12)

Luke 11:9-10 So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Another key is that we must have the right motive. James 4:2-3 You desire but do not have. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.  When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

As God’s people come together with a time of prayer and repentance it will release the great outpouring of His spirit. It is time to intercede as never before as we stand in the gap on behalf of others, as well as entire nations.

Invite others to join you in prayer. The power in the prayer of agreement from Matthew 18:19 Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.

I wanted to include a post to this writing from November 11, 2013.

Good Morning America, Good Morning Nations, Maine Has Awakened

I arise early to journal some thoughts and talk to the King. A glimpse of the snow, the blanket of white that has covered the yard catches my eye. I forgot to pull my living room shades last evening and now I know why. I stand for a few moments and gaze out the window wondering what this season will bring. Seasons of change often times are difficult. Winters here in Maine I must admit challenge me. The beauty of the fresh white fallen snow is a sight to behold. However as the inches of that white gift from heaven add up over the course of a several months, we plow it, we shift it from side to side trying to make room for it as we continue the journey of our daily lives. Snowmen seem to erect and be the most popular front yard decoration all across this state. The price for this man sitting in your yard is the same price for everyone, time. The three snow balls rolled to a larger size, stacked on top of each other decorated with hat, scarves, carrots, coal, buttons whatever your personal choice. The only cost is time.

It brings my mind to reflect on some meetings I attended this past weekend. Passion for His Presence was the name of the conference. At a very last moment I attended this free event with some other Christian women. I chuckle as I reflect on the group of women in that particular vehicle. Some had given their heart to the Lord just the weekend previous at the Performing Arts Center. The Lord used this free event An Evening with Annie and Friends to draw them unto himself. These lives will be forever changed by the King of Glory, because one woman obeyed the voice of the Lord. A Performance it was by the King himself.

I sat in the back of a trailblazer with another friend Lori as we made the one hour trip north through those dark Maine woods. We stopped at the golden arches (McDonald’s) and I went into the ladies room to freshen up. The few moments I had spent in there trying to salvage a bad hair day, she had invited two young men to the Passion for His Presence meeting. They walked to the meeting that night and we had the opportunity to pray with them and lead them back to the King. It was apparent they had knowledge of him but had not encountered him for themselves. We took turns speaking into their lives about the good plan God had for them. It was apparent the King was drawing them to himself.

I had my picture taken with a dear woman from Thailand. As we stood by a liberty bell I prayed, oh God may she sense the freedom you have provided for her. I had an opportunity to join my faith with a gentleman that has a television program in India. I prayed for the women In India that suffer from the devastating effects of abuse. I declared the word of the Lord and together we declared freedom. Just as the Lord sent Moses to Pharaoh to say let my people go, we prayed loose these women and set them free. Every girl and every woman trapped today in human trafficking we declare freedom. We have petitioned the King and Maine stands with you. I attended a conference last year Maine says NO to Human Trafficking. Our gates our closed and by our prayers your entrance would be exposed. Maine says NO!

Just like the freshness of the first white snow, today let the King of Glory, refresh you. Today, spend some time with the King. Today, get to know him more intimately. Let him speak to you, and then obey. It will cost you, but only time. Time with the King there is no better way to start your day.

Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up you everlasting doors! And the king of Glory shall come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates, Lift up you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the king of Glory. Psalm 24: 7-10
