Peter asked the Lord, how many times shall I forgive?
Matthew 18:22 Jesus answered I tell you not seven times, but seventy seven times.
Here we see that it is very important to walk in forgiveness, Jesus set an example to us in scripture before he was crucified Luke 23:34 Jesus said Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.

Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss yet Jesus forgave him.
Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love which binds then all together in perfect unity.
When you walk in forgiveness you are doing yourself a favor, cause its not realty about them but it is about you. Don’t allow any bitterness or resentment grow in your heart. Whether you have been hurt or offended. Ask God to fill you with his love.
Proverbs 17:9 He who covers an offense promotes love.
When God forgives us he totally forgets our sins. Isaiah 43:25 I, even I am he who blots out your transgression for my own sake, and remember your sins no more.

Luke 6:27 But I tell you who hear me. Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. 28 Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you
One might say that is a difficult thing to do well it is a choice that we need to walk in, the quicker we drop it and let it go the easier its going be. Don’t let it be rooted in you.
Mark 11:25 When you stand praying if you hold anything against anyone forgive him so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. Things has to be right between us and God, before we can ask him anything in prayer.
Unforgiveness can block your prayer life, Forgiveness is a decision not a feeling.

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Thank you Lord it is our desire to forgive others as you forgave us. Help us to love and pray for our enemies and allow the light of Christ shine through us. So that as we come before you in prayer that you will honor our prayers.
