Harvest Blessings…

Today let’s pray scriptures on giving thanks.

Isaiah 12:4-5 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.

Colossians 3:15-17  Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Psalm 118:1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Father, today as we reflect on our lives, we have much to be thankful for. You have blessed us with life to enjoy, along with the greatest blessing, your son Jesus. As we journey life together the blessing of the Word of God that encourages us, uplifts us and is truly life to our being. You gave us family, friends, community and the beauty of each day to be thankful for.

As the times and seasons change in our lives, we are thankful for all the many blessings. Even in the trials for you said in James 2-4  Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,  because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.  Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

We declare your Word today that we are and will be thankful. People all across this globe today will stop and reflect on the goodness of God and give thanks to Him, to Him alone. Will You?

Together we pray Psalm 20:4 that you would give us the desires of our hearts and make our plans succeed.

Have A Blessed Day, For this is the Day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Together, let’s sing this song and give thanks to the Holy One. Amen
