It’s not just a piece of paper! The Word of God and even this message today is living to the believers of Christ! It’s not just a piece of paper! Hope in Today Ministries and those like ours is a living organism because of the Word of God that has become alive to us in our ministry and God’s anointing; thus it is a living thing! I write to you today to encourage you 1st to believe; and come into the unity of believing God’s Word that is God’s power to The Church of HIS faith; and for the benefit of your life and in your ministry as well…all for the Glory of God!
By Faith, I believe you are ready to hear this; and it is not to soon, but right on time!
The Word of God is a living thing!
The world is a believer’s enemy! However, a believer is in the midst of the world for a purpose. Just as “in the Midst” is written in Genesis and Revelation! The midst is the center and the focus.
Don’t become distracted; nor discouraged. Have faith; and do not be afraid to take your stand in Christ to stand strong in the midst of this world! Stand for the cause of Christ to PRAY, demonstrate the power of God’s Love in all you do, think and say … Roll your thoughts upon the Lord, commit and trust them wholly to HIM and God will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to HIS will. Then, stand in Christ for the benefit of the world (those who will hear and believe) that Jesus has come and God has SO loved whosoever will believe!
The Spirit nudged me to encourage you today to believe that God has SO loved you since before you were born! If you already know this, it’s still beautiful to hear and know that you were born by the purpose of God!
Here is another powerful statement that I heard in church one Sunday that still rings a beauty in the truth that rests in my hear: Jesus predicted His own death, burial and resurrection; and it happened! Jesus died, was buried and three days later was resurrected by the power of God’s Holy and Living Spirit! Jesus is the Son of the Living God, who calls His followers friend!
Hebrews 4:12King James Version (KJV) (NIV)
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, (alive and active) and sharper than any two-edged (double-edged) sword, piercing (it penetrates) even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts (it judges the thoughts) and intents (attitudes) of the heart.
As a diver puts on his, or her gear to go under the water to discover what is already there … Discover the life God has waiting on you! Seek to find God’s answers for your troubles in this world, in the Word of God that is to your benefit –not demise! What is dividing your spirit from God’s Holy Spirit?
It is in the Scripture …
It is Written …
Our dog will run and hide in the depths of the closet even as he sees or senses it is time for his bath; or the application of anything that is for his good. Whether time to apply flea med, or brush his teeth, our dog will hide from responsibility, but he will run to the reward when he hears the cheese wrapper in the kitchen! Aren’t we humans much like this? We want to avoid doing the seemingly hard things (those things that may be … or seem to be, out of our comfort zone … that even though we feel good in the end, we will by human nature sometimes more want to run to avoid if possible –unless we will train ourselves in the rewards! God’s grace found in God’s love is for our benefit! We do have responsibilities to “crucify our flesh” and “believe to have faith” and, WOW what a harsh word, “crucify our flesh,” but have you experienced the rewards??? And, have you learned what that really means?
My son would may never take a bath if it were up to him, but once he discovers the shower, he stays in there forever it seems! It is like this with our life with God. Discover the blessings in God’s Presence!

“Will you listen to hear God’s whisper and run to His arms expecting a Father’s Love that is for you –as a doggie will rise up every time when he or she hears a cheese wrapper? Think for a moment what makes that doggie excitedly and expectantly run to the kitchen knowing that cheese is for him! As someone who loves their furry family member –think how much more God has loved you! As someone who loves their doggie thinks of them and saves a treat to offer them –think of how much more God has loved you! We can train ourselves in the power of knowing God’s love for us by just loving God …”
Can a believer have a problem today with paying taxes? Can believers in Christ have a problem today paying a believer’s tithes?
The Bible answers and says:

20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
21 They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.
22 When they had heard these words, they arveled, and left him, and went their way.
Can a believer in Christ sometimes face a problem overcoming frustration towards people or situations? The problem rests in our heart, but Jesus enables us to overcome. Can a believer experience the stronghold of pride and emotions? The problem rests in our heart, but Jesus enables us to overcome. Jesus is our our gift from God who teaches us of blessings, by the blessing God.
It is a miracle from God; and the power of God works: Praising Him and thanking Him for the things that God has already blessed us with rescues us from our self!
Saying out loud FIVE (5) positive and uplifting things directly about our life situation is the direct power of the living Word over our every test and trial that comes at us in this world!
The Bible says: “Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name (Psalm 100:4).”
There is power in the Unity of the Church. There is power in the believer’s spoken Word. It is especially valuable to us to hear our voices read the Word of God out loud!
Don’t close the window to God’s Grace! Please don’t be offended when I say in a way I need to hear myself: Close your mouth instead –and allow the Holy Spirit to rework your mind and align your heart to blessing God …
James 5:16
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
As a church in Christ, that is united in believing in the Living Word of God, we can pray for the needs of this world! Believers of Christ are placed in the midst of the world on purpose to meet the needs of those God brings to us in the power of His Love!
What is the mountain that you face? OR, the mountain of another you can pray for? Do you believe what God’s Word says to you in Mark 11:23? Pray! Don’t sin, by worry, pray instead and believe! Do not doubt in your heart, which is your spirit –Complete your faith in the power of the Holy Spirit and pray the Word of God out loud and believe!

5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
Mark 11:23
“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
Study also: And, Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost found written in Luke 4 KJV
If a believer believes in the power of God, we can take up our “bow of faith and our arrow of the Word of God” and when we learn of a prayer need –of people, as any of us face a mountain … Let’s unite in Christ and pray for our military and their protection, discernment, and Wisdom. Let’s unite in Christ and pray for those in the shortage of food or medical supplies / needs. In Christ, we as a believer are placed in the midst of the world to serve God in love and prayer –whether the need be to the East, the West, the North or the South, we in Christ can believe and shoot our “bow and arrow” of faith according to the living and powerful WORD of God; and trust this spiritual arrow will go and reach its destiny by the power of God!
Now this is FAITH! Prayer works!
Prayer is powerful and effective!
In the natural, the natural arrow will fall, but there is more to this life than what we see and feel in the natural! God is near to us in Spirit! The spiritual arrow of prayer spoken from our believing spirit of Christ will reach the destiny of need with hope in the power of God! This message of prayer is in Christ. This message is through the power of the Holy Spirit. This message is according to the Living and Active Word of God.
This is my portion to share and it comes in the unity of Hope in Today Ministries’ faith in God. I hope this is a blessing.
If I were to doubt my portion, then wouldn’t that be self-righteous?
Faith is a tool that God has given us to use! The Word of God is a tool that God has given us to use and apply to our life and our ministry, which is also a gift of God to the world!
It is not just a piece of paper! It is living to the Believers of Christ and it is our assignment to apply God’s Word to our life and put to good use in our ministry to reach the world with the love and power of God for the cause of Christ –Because God SO loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son …
John 3:16King James Version (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Has the Word of God become alive to you yet? This is your encouragement today from the Lord to believe –and do not doubt in your heart.
I will leave you today with this final thought:
Jesus did not concern Himself with pointing out the theological errors of the religious leaders who were clamoring for His death, nor did He complain about His unjust treatment under an oppressive government. Instead, He focused on the fact that His kingdom is other-worldly. His primary concern was His mission of rescuing humanity from their sins. Jesus demonstrated that sometimes facts get in the way of the truth. Many things are true, but not everything is of equal importance.
Presenting accurate information is important. But insisting … (can get in the way). It means we measure our communication against the standard of Jesus Christ … Reflect the truth and character (of God’s Way) of Jesus Christ (emphasis mine).
