Please The Lord

Reserve-RevivalI pray that you never lose the AWE of GOD! If you have, I pray you regain it. This morning I awoke at around 4am to post the news here at FGGAM. It is at 66 degrees this morning in Albuquerque with beautiful clear skies. The cool breeze was fanning me this morning as I just stood in awe in the yard and looked at the sunrise. It may reach 100 today.  Genesis 28:17

He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

Yesterday my Pastor, Barbara Gould, told me that I need to take a sabbatical. I am praying I can take a few days off after the Revival in Reserve, which is August 14, 15, and 16. Barbara asked if Sharon and I had taken a vacation…LOL! We have not since FGGAM started. It was 3 years ago this month that we went to Minnesota for a bit.

I am tired, but it is a “good tired” as we used to say back home, knowing you have given your all.

For me to live is Christ (His life in me), and to die is gain (the gain of the glory of eternity). Phil 1:21

My mentor and Chief Advisor, Pastor Leonard Navarre told me years ago, “You know what we get to do today Dewey? We get to serve the Lord!”

I remain in AWE of GOD everyday…….this little ministry of FGGAM just plugs away each day, trying to make a difference for God, standing in the gap for Him.

When we started FGGAM the Lord gave many words including………

You have not gone up into the gaps or breeches, nor built up the wall for the house of Israel that it might stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. Ezekiel 13:5

And………Ezekiel 22:30……And I sought a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.

We stand in the gap.

God blesses us each day.

Nothing is more important than your relationship with God.

How are you and the Lord getting along today?

When I awake each morning I ask the Lord, “What do you want me to do today, Lord?” “How can I please you today, Lord?”

Do not try to please yourself or other people first.

Please the Lord.
