Netanyahu Denies Secret Negotiations With Hamas

 

The office or Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday strongly denied rumors that the government was negotiating for a long-term truce with the Islamist terror militia Hamas which rules the Gaza Strip. “Israel formally clarifies that there are no meetings with Hamas,” the PMO said. “Neither directly, through third countries, nor through mediators.” Palestinian Authority officials had denounced both Hamas and Israel in recent days for what they characterized as a conspiracy to destroy the Palestinian national cause. Meanwhile, there was another stabbing attack on Israeli security forces by a Palestinian terrorist at the Tapuah junction Monday afternoon.
