For some time now I have been in the habit of posting three crosses when I am posting Scripture from the New Testament, when I’m praying for somebody or something to happen, or whenever I am writing something that makes me think of our Lord Jesus. When I sign a copy of my book for someone I will always write:
Luke 15:24
Philippians 4:13 +++
And then I will sign my own name below the above verses mentioned. I do not write what the Scripture actually says though. I do that for a purpose and that purpose is that the reader, if they cannot recall what the verses say to them, that they will open their Bible to look them up. I want people to use their Bible, to open it, and to read from the Word of God.
Some might have questioned why I have done that in the past and if you also have wondered about the +++ now you know the answer. But maybe you might be wondering what the significance of the three plus signs are. After all, they are nothing more than a plus sign on my keyboard but I use them as the sign of the cross. And three of them should be deemed of some importance. One cross for you, one cross for me, and one cross for all of us.

I use the sign of the cross to try to help others know that the cross can help them recognize the love that we all need to have for our Lord Jesus. I pray that by doing this I can help them understand and to learn more about Him as I also walk that path with them. And when a friend asks me to help them in prayer I will try to let them know that I do have them in my prayers by typing the three crosses in my message to them.
