The Islamic State (IS) terror militia was claiming responsibility over the weekend for two rockets that were fired at Israeli territory from the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula. Fragments of the rockets were recovered by Israeli police at two impact sites, although the rockets caused no injuries or damage. The rockets came amidst fierce clashes between IS and Egyptian security forces in the Sinai over the weekend and Friday’s publication by the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) on last summer’s Operation Protective Edge that was highly critical of Israel while barely mentioning the war crimes and atrocities committed by Hamas and other Gaza-based terror militias.
