Side Deals & Fleece
News broke this week that the Obama Administration is withholding “secret side deals” from Congress that were negotiated during the Iranian nuclear talks.
Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-KS), who discovered the existence of these agreements during talks with officials from the International Atomic Energy Agency, issued a joint press release, saying:
“In failing to secure the disclosure of these secret side deals, the Obama administration is asking Congress and the American people to trust, but not verify. What we cannot do is trust the terror-sponsoring, anti-American, outlaw regime that governs Iran and that has been deceiving the world on its nuclear weapons work for years.”
House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell demanded the White House “immediately” submit the side deals for congressional review.
Today, Secretary of State John Kerry attempted to defend the deal before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He was not well received. Chairman Bob Corker told Kerry:
“What I think you’ve actually done in these negotiations is codify a perfectly aligned pathway for Iran to get a nuclear weapon just by abiding by this agreement. I look at the things that they need to do, the way it’s laid out, and I don’t think you could more perfectly lay it out. I believe you’ve been fleeced.”
Standing With Israel & Forgotten Americans
Ten thousand people took to the streets in New York City yesterday to protest Obama’s nuclear sellout to Iran. American Values was a proud sponsor of the rally.
Today, I spoke at a rally in Washington, D.C., just across from the White House. The event, sponsored by Concerned Women for America, was a demonstration against Obama’s nuclear deal and the fact that he (just like Jimmy Carter) left American hostages in Iran.
He traded five Taliban leaders for one deserter, and in a deal giving Iran $150 billion in sanctions relief, he failed to get American hostages released. That tells you all you need to know about the rest of the deal!
Not surprisingly, the radicals at CODEPINK tried to crash our rally. When they started to shout down Senator Ted Cruz, he invited CODEPINK’S leader, Medea Benjamin, to the front to debate him. By the time the event finished, the crowd had swelled with scores of tourists, many of them supporting us!
At one point, a group of Muslims who had been observing the ruckus walked up and starting talking with the CODEPINK demonstrators. Then they walked over to us and asked who we were. When we explained that we were rallying against Iran, they expressed their gratitude as Kuwaitis and Jordanians, and I handed my yellow ribbon to one of them who proudly put it on.
During a recent interview with NBC News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on how Obama’s Iranian deal has united Arabs and Israelis. He said, “When Arabs and Israelis agree, it’s worth paying attention.”
Political Correctness Will Kill Us
The FBI continues its ludicrous effort to make the Chattanooga shootings look like they had nothing to do with the Islamic enemies who want us all dead. Never mind that this same government has been warning that ISIS was getting ready to attack servicemen in America, which is exactly what happened in Chattanooga.
The mantra now is that there is no evidence anyone directed Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez. Are you kidding me? Muhammad directed him!
The fact that law enforcement officials can’t find direct orders postmarked from ISIS HQ makes the matter worse, not better. It means that the ISIS strategy of activing jihadists simply with exhortations to kill is working.
It also means that our massive surveillance apparatus is of limited value as long as we keep importing people whose culture makes them susceptible to the jihadi message.
Now here’s the latest. Yesterday, a serviceman found the following message left on his car near Fort Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Georgia:
“dear american soldier,
death to you coward women child killer and all the american military
mohammad will show no mercy on you
attacks will come full force
death is to come to you”
If this soldier is killed, we will undoubtedly be told that his attacker was depressed and suicidal.
What is depressing is that we are stuck with such ideologically-blinded leadership when there is a bull’s-eye on all our heads.
By the way, while our culture is busy telling little boys that they may be little girls, our enemy is preparing its little boys to be warriors. Check out the latest video from ISIS. A little Islamist is holding a rifle as big as he is asking, “Where are the martyrs?”
This is the kind of hatred and incitement to violence that Israelis see every day from Hamas, Hezbollah and the Palestinians, while we demand they make more concessions for peace.
