Good morning to you dear readers! This is Karen Rowe with Hope in Today Ministries. I hope this day finds you well in the Lord! And, if not, the grace to get through it well! The Bible is our “Word” “UP” each and every day. I have some words from the Lord that I hope will encourage you in your day.
Grace and Peace be with you in this day, as long as God calls it Today. This is a powerful statement from the Word of God. We can rise up to God’s call on our life to BE HOLY!
The Bibles says to remain at peace.
Peace I leave you, says Jesus.
The Church is NOT the building or the denomination, the CHURCH is JESUS –HE is the Head and we are the Body.
The Bible says to pray for your enemy –Do you know why? Because there is an eternity with or without God.
The Bible says do not treat those in Christ who are being led astray as your enemy, but the Bible gives instructions one on one and uses the word gently.
In the Old Testament, the Lord enlightened the power of God’s Control of HIS Kingdom Church.
When God wants something done –It is done; and in HIS time; God is not surprised at the adversity, but in fact in God’s great patience, God is still working out HIS plan.
In the Book of Esra, “The LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus King of Persia (Esra 1:1) to strengthen the hand of those God was calling to build the house of God, the God of Israel (Esra 6:22). “Then rose up…,with all them whose spirit God had raised … (Ezra 1:5).
The Bible uses the words “With Joy, for the Lord had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.”
Reading on in the book of Esra, there were those who come against the work of God …Please read this incredible history in the Bible! But in due time, The LORD’s will was done!
Now, in that time, there was a decree made by the King of whom the Lord had moved the heart of that there would not be any toll to be paid …
Again, please read this for your own mind to see as God reveals His Word to you, but this morning the Spirit of the Lord is moving my heart in this direction.
Now, with this knowledge, let’s move to the New Testament, where Peter knew his religious freedom in the Temple with this tax, but when faced with a decision of God’s Right and Wrong, Peter went to Jesus and asked Jesus, Lord, what do we do?
Jesus answered with great power and authority of GRACE over the LAW, but not to change God’s STRUCTURE of Grace.
Go and cast out your line and the 1st fish you catch, open its mouth and take out the coin. Use this coin to pay your tax and mine! Read this miracle in the Bible! It is an incredible history and example of how we are to act in the Grace of God according to facing the laws that have changed according to man’s views. God has not changed –God has instructed our way!
Jesus said to Peter, “TO AVOID CAUSING OFFENSE” Go and DO as the LORD commands and SEE what God has PROVIDED for us to meet this request of man, but not step out of the Grace and Righteousness of God!
Jesus is our AMAZING Truth, Way and LIFE! Jesus has ALL the answers!
Our command is to pray and believe in God and also in Jesus. Furthermore, in Grace, the Bible teaches us “IF POSSIBLE, as far as it depends on me, Remain at peace with everyone.
Friends in Christ, we are not called to be a part of the division that is going on in this world. The Bible teaches us, Do not be surprised, but in all our ways acknowledge God who has sent us Jesus.
As we pray, God will provide our way to continue shining the light of Jesus to the world in the unity of the Body of Christ. The Church is NOT gone, the diversion is just mirror imaging deception to the world to deceive as the Bible says, “even the elect if that is possible”.
I will be glad to provide Scripture references to this. Yet, for Today, according to the power of the Holy Spirit living in me and the Word of God that I have found and have written in my heart, I will share what the Lord has stirred up in my spirit to share.
God loves you my friend. Enjoy God’s freedom in His Grace, but remember that Grace is not to use the law to argue division; Grace is the provision of Peace with the emotion of God, which is JOY overpowering our human emotions. Grace is our power to please God in all that we do with our knowledge that God is over all and has HIS eye even on the sparrow.
God bless you my friend in Christ. And, if you don’t know Jesus like this, I invite you to be my friend through meeting the Son of God. Jesus loves you and this is one thing that matters what you believe. The Lord has put on my heart the ministry of God’s Love. I pray that I reflect God’s love well, but remember, I too am a work in progress.
