Kyle MartinREVIVAL IS COMING!!!! By Betty Fritz of Elkhart, Indiana Revive Indiana

My post today might sound like a public service announcement, but I have to tell you about a wonderful organization that is bringing revival to America in a BIG way!

At the beginning of this year I started to seriously pray for God to send revival and heal our country. It saddens me so to see the country and people I love…Not to mention our Lord…being mistreated, taken to court and ridiculed simply because they stand up or dare to voice their opinions that others find offensive.

So many people have declared that what is happening lately is just a sign of the times and surely the end must come soon. I keep going back to the verse in the Bible, Matthew 16:4 where Jesus said. “A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas.”

I know in my heart, because He promises it in His Word, that if we will turn back to Him, and away from sin, He will heal our land. While praying, I got so excited as Jesus impressed on me the great need we have for revival. Not just here where I live but the whole nation is in need of God. It is time for the churches and denominations to all come together and spread the word that there is power in the name of JESUS! I asked Him to please speak this message to someone who knows how to get revival started and to use me if He could to help.

Within a couple of weeks there was news that it was happening!! All the denominations were coming together and every church invited to join in an event called REVIVE INDIANA. (In the Elkhart and Goshen, Indiana area) A young man with ties to this area had gotten a letter from an Amish man asking him to come and lead the area in revival. The young man came and saw that the area was indeed ready for God to move.

The young man’s name is Kyle Lance Martin. He has an organization with headquarters in Dallas, Texas called: Time To Revive. What they do is lead the community in bringing people of all faiths together in one place and pray for revival. They have training sessions also where they train people to go out into the community in groups and share the story of Jesus where ever the Holy Spirit leads them. That is the coolest part about the organization…they rely solely on the leading of the Holy Spirit in determining where they go and how long they stay. Here they planned for 52 days of prayer and discipleship…it took a little longer than that.

More people attended than were expected at every prayer meeting! In the final days over 3,000 people attended and many were led to Christ. The local schools allowed the students excused absences in order for them to attend breakfast meetings with their prayer groups, Bibles were handed out and the Gospel was shared everyday. Even some businesses and factories welcomed the team into their buildings to share the Gospel during their break times. With their step by step approach of urging believers to share their faith, they got the church out of our comfort zones and into the streets where the people are. They even provided a website: reviveindiana.org where we could go and view the progress every day. All this preparation will lead to a huge revival set for June of this year.

Revive Indiana has moved on to the south of us now into Kokomo and Bloomington.  Even though they have moved on they still are in contact with the churches that are continuing to ignore denominations, and getting together. With prayer and leadership of the Holy Spirit, I know this movement can cover the United States in the coming months.

About Betty Fritz:

My name is Betty Fritz. I was born and raised in Texas but have resided in Elkhart, Indiana for the last 25 years. My husband is a Hoosier so that’s how we wound up here. We have two daughters and a son plus 6 grand kids…..3 boys and 3 girls.

I retired last year after working for 24 years at Elkhart Child Development Center. I’ve been writing since a teenager and have taken several writing courses. I enjoy writing short stories. I wrote a book of poems, RHYMES OF THE TIMES, which was published a few years ago. I have written countless songs, a few for which demo recordings have been made. Recently I’ve been writing blogs..most of them about my faith and things the Lord has taught me in my Christian life over the last 51 years. My inspiration comes from my personal relationship with Jesus Christ and my desire to see that my grand children grow up in a Christian nation. My goal is to bring glory to Him and help others to see that there is POWER in the name of JESUS!
