National Day of Prayer by Dr. Jack Graham

The 2015 National Prayer

We are anticipating a wonderful turnout for the 64 th annual National Day of Prayer on May 7 th as millions of Americans gather to intercede before God’s throne. Our team is hard at work designing and printing more than one-and-a-half million prayer resources, which will be distributed at military installations, prisons, hospitals, schools, government offices and at gatherings from coast to coast.

In addition, our Honorary Chairman, Dr. Jack Graham, has written the National Prayer ( available on our website) that will be offered at the National Observance in Washington, D.C. This prayer will be heard on radio stations and then simultaneously prayed at events beginning on the east coast, creating a wave of prayer across the United States throughout each time zone.

Lord, Hear Our Cry

The 64th annual National Day of Prayer (NDP) is fast approaching! On Thursday, May 7, NDP Task Force volunteers throughout the country will coordinate events where millions of Americans will gather to humble themselves before the Lord – and there are additional untold numbers who will be participating in other ways.

This annual observance powerfully demonstrates the religious freedoms that were secured by our Founding Fathers who recognized that our innate human rights are inexorably tied to our relationship with the Creator.Keep reading this article >>

Prayer Begins With…Worship

To worship means “to bow down, to prostrate oneself.” God is seeking those who worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). God wants truth in the inner parts of our heart (Psalm 51:6). In true worship, there is a total bowing down of the heart to God, which is a response to the revelation of who God is – revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. Worship is voluntary submission to the love, the will, and the law of God. Keep reading this article >>

New and Improved

The National Day of Prayer has experienced a record number of visitors to the website in recent weeks, causing slowing between pages and orders. In fact, due to the increased activity, the ministry had to make a decision to bolster service by migrating to a new website server. Although the overall look of the site is very similar, behind the scenes a far more efficient system has been put into place. So, we encourage you to take our new site for a test drive. If you had any slowing issues over the past week, then you should notice a difference right away. In fact, it is not too late to place orders or download printable resources.
