Dewey's Bible sayingWe love you all……Sharon and I and the whole gang here at FGGAM, there now is more than 40 of us, we just thank God for you and yours for your daily love and prayers! We are here to share God’s Glory!

Picture is the front cover of my Bible, my life verse. I also love the saying about integrity!

If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me. Where I am, there My servant also will be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him. John 12:26

We are to develop the servant attitude of Christ that requires humility and obedience. In His instructions to His disciples about servanthood, Jesus described His own role of service: “Whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give His life—a ransom for many” Matthew 20: 27-28

Pray for politicians. Too many have an EGO, which stands for Edging God Out!

The biblical portrayal of God’s servant is more like a potter and clay. God described the relationship with His people this way:

This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Go down at once to the potter’s house; there I will reveal My words to you.” So I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, working away at the wheel. But the jar that he was making from the clay became flawed in the potter’s hand, so he made it into another jarm as it seemed right for him to do.

The word of the Lord came to me: “House of Israel, can I not teat you as this potter treats his clay?”—-this is the Lord’s declaration. “Just like clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, house of Israel.” Jer. 18: 1-6

To be useful, clay has to be pliable. Once it is made into a vessel, its usefulness is still subject to the discretion of the potter! Amen!

Are you being useful to God or to yourself?
