We are rapidly approaching the 42nd anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court decision which made abortion legal in the United States on January 22, 1973. I continue to be propelled in my desire to see all the mothers that have given up their babies to the horrific act of abortion to rise up and unite to let our nation know that ABORTION HARMS WOMEN!
A good friend of ours and pro-life supporter, Grant Bresett from Calvary Chapel in Rio Rancho, makes the statement, “If you knew abortion harmed women would you rethink your position?” I know for a fact that abortion hurt THIS woman that is writing to you today and countless others. I speak with them everyday and hear their stories and cry with them.

The abortion industry labels themselves as “trustworthy healthcare for women”. I label it “EXPLOITATION” at its worst. What else can you call an organized group of people that prey upon another group of people, very often children (17 and under), who are facing one of the most fearful and uncertain times in their lives and are acting out of panic and desperation. What do you call it when this organization of people uses that fear to line their pocketbooks? This is NOT healthcare for women. It is, pure and simple EXPLOITATION!
Now they can no longer deny that a baby has a heartbeat at 21 days of conception due to the modern miracle of ultrasounds, which raises another question…why is it that when a heartbeat stops a person is considered dead but not a living human being when their heartbeat starts? And what about the fact that ultrasounds have also shown a “fetus” recoils in pain when a medical instrument touches its tiny body. That baby feels the pain of abortion.
Abby Johnson, a former director of Planned Parenthood, says that in September 2009, due to a personnel shortage she was called in to assist in an ultrasound-guided abortion of a fetus was at 13 weeks gestation. Johnson, who previously believed fetuses could not feel anything while being aborted, says she saw the fetus squirming and twisting to avoid the vacuum tube which would be used to suck and destroy the fetus.
“For the briefest moment,” she wrote in her memoir, Unplanned, “the baby looked as if it were being wrung like a dishcloth, twirled and squeezed. And then it crumpled and began disappearing into the abortion instrument right before my eyes. Listen to the new stance taken by some pro-choice activists. In a recent article and radio feature by Breakpoint named “Are We the Baddies – A Wake Up Call to Abortion Supporters” https://www.breakpoint.org/bpcommentaries/entry/13/26180, two pro-choicers are featured who gladly admit what they aborted was a child (which is a pretty new thing coming out since most pro-choice camps argue it is not really a live baby until it’s viable outside the womb).
The article goes on to say, “Well, I guess we all now agree that abortion does end a human life. But that’s okay, say its defenders. That’s a sacrifice worth making to avoid the rigors of motherhood or the hassle of adoption. In fact, it’s so worth it that women shouldn’t even consider abortion a hard decision. They should celebrate and make art out of it.”
So now what? Where will it end? Does this mean that a single mom who is struggling with her 2 year old and decides it’s not worth the effort and she wants to go on with her life should be able take the life of her child since it’s a “sacrifice worth making to avoid the rigors of motherhood?”
How dangerously close are we to complete the life and death issue in total depravity.
